- Mix bowel prep solution:
- MoviPrep container is divided by 4 marks. Every 15 minutes, drink the solution down to the next mark (approximately 8 oz.) until the full liter is consumed.
- MoviPrep contains a disposable container, 2 pouches labeled A and 2 pouches labeled B. You must complete the entire prep to ensure the most effective cleansing.
- Mix the first dose:
- Empty 1 pouch A and 1 pouch B into the disposable container
- Add lukewarm water to the top line of the container. Mix to dissolve. *If preferred, mix solution ahead of time and refrigerate prior to drinking. The reconstituted solution should be used within 24 hours. Some people prefer to drink the prep through a straw.
- Drink the first dose between 5-9 pm: Drink 8 oz. every 10-15 minutes until bottle is empty. *Drink the whole glass rapidly. Drinking through a straw may help with the taste. You may also suck on hard candy while drinking the solution.
- DO NOT drink other liquids while drinking bowel prep solution. You may resume clear liquids once bottle is empty.
- DO Not lie down between drinks—It may cause nausea and bloating
- Bowel movements usually occur within 1-2 hours of starting prep. It is recommended to stay near a restroom at this point.
